Attorney Profiles
Brian D. Guralnick, Esquire – Founder and Managing Partner
My first encounter into the area of injury law unfortunately happened when my own mother’s malignant melanoma skin cancer was misdiagnosed by a local doctor. By the time the melanoma was properly diagnosed, the cancer had spread throughout her body and ultimately killed her. From this experience, I discovered that you need to do your own research, learn the medicine, and become a strong advocate. I was so passionate in my personal fight, that I decided I wanted to help out other inured accident victims.
After law school, I started out my legal career working for two prominent injury law firms. However, I learned that many large injury law firms did not give their clients and their cases the appropriate attention. Therefore, in 1998, I started my own law firm and accumulated an amazing, talented, and caring team with plenty of resources to take on the biggest insurance companies, such as State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, and Progressive.
What sets apart is that we get to know our clients and their cases on a personal level. Most of my team members consider each other like family, and we feel the same way with most of our clients. In my opinion, it is this combination of personal attention, along with the skill, passion, and resources, that enables to recover millions of dollars each year for our clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing poker, skiing, good food and wine…and of course playing with our office dog. I also enjoy staying active in the community. I have been on the board of directors for various local charities, assisted many local political leaders, and I have been appointed to several city committees.
I am also the Vice President of the RDK Melanoma Foundation, which strives to raise awareness about lifesaving techniques for the early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma. The foundation has been working locally and nationally since 1995 to educate students in grades K-12 on the importance of sun-safe behavior.

I also appeared on WPBF 25 News to talk about the importance of sun safety and how the foundation has collaborated with schools throughout Palm Beach County and Florida to implement a fun and educational contest for students – “The RDK Kinney Art Contest”. Watch the interview here.

Only 1% of all lawyers have achieved this prestigious designation which entitles him to be called an “expert” in this area of law. He has aggressively fought for victim’s rights while a criminal prosecutor for several years in both Palm Beach County, and New York. Since that time Sam has been exclusively fighting on behalf of injured accident victims in Palm Beach County, where he now resides. Sam’s unique background as both a prosecutor, as well as defending insurance companies, has given him the advantage of knowing inside information on how injury cases are fought.
We are very fortunate to have Sam as part of our team. In addition to his skills as an injury trial lawyer, Sam is a dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate man. He really cares about his clients by getting them the best medical and financial result for their injuries. Sam lives in West Palm Beach and is the proud father to his adult children Emily and Jake.

Guy C. Icangelo, Jr. – Sr. Trial Attorney
Guy grew up in central New Jersey and graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1982. While working in a variety of jobs from the factory floor to crews and location scouting for commercials, small films and documentaries in Boston and New York, Guy and his wife started their family in Boston. They soon moved to Miami where Guy attended The University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 1995. While in law school, Guy was involved in leadership roles in student organizations, culminating in being elected by his peers as President of the Moot Court Board.
In 1996, Guy, moved to Palm Beach County where he started practice defending doctors, nurses, hospitals, and nursing homes for the next ten years. After learning the defense side working for insurance companies, Guy moved to the Plaintiff’s side where he happily fights insurance companies every day. “I take great pride in representing people who have been injured as the result of others’ negligence. When the insurance companies take a stand and deny all fault on the part of their insured or minimize my client’s pain and suffering as if it does not matter, it only strengthens my resolve to obtain a great result for my clients.”
